Alyse Carlson is a practicing pediatrician, poet, and a student in the MFA Program for Writers at Warren Wilson College. Her work has appeared in the Chicago Quarterly Review and Consequence and is forthcoming in The Georgia Review, Aquifer: The Florida Review Online, Consequence and Beloit Poetry Journal. She lives with her family in Spokane, Washington.
